HAASE Calf Transport Box KTBfive
- for calves
- large stainless-steel box for transporting up to 5 new-born calves to igloos set up away from the cow shed
- large sliding door allows calves to be loaded and unloaded easily and almost level with the ground
- locking pins hold the door open or closed
- sliding door allows the box to be manoeuvred close to the igloos
- sliding door can also be removed for cleaning
- suspension/forklift attachment allows the transport box to be lifted and transported using any commercially available front loader (e.g. Weidemann)
- a small additional container allows you to transport feeder buckets and other equipment to the igloos at the same time
- container can be attached to the transport box in a number of positions
- significant time savings as you only need to make a single trip
- transportation by front loader allows you to adjust the unloading height to that of the calf hutches
- the side walls of the KTBfive are perforated so the calves remain clearly visible
- the floor is covered in rubber matting, giving the calves a soft and stable surface to stand on
- easy to clean: small slots at the edge of the floor allow water to drain away immediately, giving high standards of hygiene
